ALFREDO'S PICKS

agb'oju l'ogun

Agb'oju L'ogun has all you want from the Afrobeat world: great, funky rhytm provided by a synthesizer , mixed with some amazing African vocals. It is a trip around some of Africa's greatest and most iconic sounds. The quality of this song has made Aboju Logun an extremely sought after record in Vinyl. If you are a vinyl collector and wish to get your hands on this record you'll have to pay at least 160 US$ according to discogs.

now that i have you

If you ever in desperate need to get your couple all riled up, look no further, the perfect track is here for you. All you need to do is put Now That I Have You by Tommy Mcgee. It is physically impossible  not to succumb to such beautiful rhtym and vocals. Tommy Mcgee strikes again.

Des taxis pour les galaxies

When these three pink-feathered crémantbirds nest in the DJ booth they’ll unreservedly mix through synthesizerdisco, acid-drenched house and vocal-overloaded pop-gems. Great song to listen to while on the move, the beat just keeps growing and growing indefinitely, the song is certainly a trip through a galaxy full of sound and groove.

Two times

This duo of the DJ AM and the multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee is pure gold. The duo have done everything from pop to psychedelick funk. Everything from AM & Shawn Lee is amazing, full of funk and great rhtym. Great tune to listen to relax. The video in youtube is amazing as well if you have the need to compliment don’t doubt it.

Ciudad de la furia (version MTV
unplugged)

This version of Ciudad de la furia by Sodastereo is one of the best psychedelic songs I’ve ever heard. The guitar is masterful and it will take you on a great trip for the full 8 minutes of the song. I can comfortably say this song is one of the best songs i've heard of psychedelic rock. The guitar on the song is something out of this world. Thank god for MTV Unplugged and bringing us this jewel to our lives.

Atomic Bomb

William Onyeabor is a legendary funk and disco producer. The man produced 8 albums self released by himself while he was a succesful businessman even getting the accolade of west africa industrialist of the year in 1987. After releasing his 8th album he became a bron-again christian and swore to never discuss his music or himself again. His music is good as well, give it a listen.
